Community Soccer Program

Community Soccer Program

The Community Soccer Program is for all area youth from 1st through 8th grade.  The purpose of community soccer is to provide and foster organized youth soccer for girls and boys at a fun yet challenging level.  The philosophy of our program is to promote participation, emphasize sportsmanship and develop skills with an appreciation for the game of soccer.

The programming year includes both the Fall and Spring sessions for 1st through 8th grade with approximately 16 games total - occurring on Saturday mornings or early afternoons.  Teams also get the opportunity to compete in the annual LUFC Community Soccer Tournament.

Community Soccer coaches are volunteers within the community and are all SafeSport certified.  Coaches  receive support and training from Director of Coaching, Jonathan Greenfield.  All coaches have the opportunity to continue their training with sponsored courses from US Soccer and WYSA, which offers licensing programs from Grassroots through Professional.
